Montreal police want to elucidate another attempted fire at a pizzeria in the borough of LaSalle on Tuesday morning.
The authorities were called around 4:25 a.m. for the start of a fire in a business located on rue Thierry, near rue Turley in LaSalle.
The police dispatched to the scene noticed the presence of traces of accelerant, while a can of gasoline was in front of the business.

The damage to the building is very minor with just the facade blackened by the fire lit outside, but without spreading inside the building.
The suspects, who fled, had nevertheless prepared their blow well by placing two tires and an orange cone on the facade to fuel the flames.

Even if it has not yet been done, the investigation should be transferred to the arson section of the Montreal Police Department.
