The Nîmes CHU has an innovative exoskeleton to improve the rehabilitation of neurological patients, a in Occitania.

The Nîmes University has been used for a few months a advanced rehabilitation device, the Atalanting X exoskeleton. This innovative device provides real support in the rehabilitation of neurological patients. It is a first in the Occitanie region and marks a major in the management of ambulatory patients suffering from neurological pathologies.

The Carémeau hospital center has equipped the exoskeleton produced by Wandercraft with the support of the Regional Agency (ARS) in Occitanie. This product makes it possible to better accompany patients who have undergone a cerebral lesion, medullary or who suffer from chronic neurological pathologies, such as multiple sclerosis. “By integrating this innovative technology, the Nîmes University Hospital reaffirms its commitment to offer ever more efficient and suitable solutions”, Indicates Frédéric Rimattei, CEO of the CHU.
