The DGPN began its tour with the city of Thiès, where it visited the central police station, the police station of the 1st arrondissement, the staff of the mobile intervention group (GMI) as well as the Michel Le Grand camp. During his interviews with the agents, he learned about the difficulties encountered by the operational services in order to consider adapted solutions.

During this visit, which is part of a proximity management approach, he reaffirmed his commitment to improve the working conditions of civil servants and to strengthen the security network. The governor of the region, met on this occasion, welcomed the excellent work of the police in the region. Before leaving Thiès, the police inspector general expressed his gratitude to the agents for their dedication and encouraged them to continue their efforts.

Continuing his journey, the police inspector general went to the urban police stations of Tivaouane and Kébémer. He met the police officers there in order to collect their operational concerns and the challenges they face daily in their mission to protect people and property.

He also recalled the nobility of their mission and urged them to redouble their efforts to meet the growing security requirements. The DGPN welcomed their professionalism and selflessness, while encouraging them to cultivate excellence in the accomplishment of their missions.

On Wednesday January 22, the police inspector general arrived in Saint-Louis. It was welcomed by local officials, notably the central commissioner and the commander of the operational group of the mobile intervention group (GMI).

During his visit, the DGPN visited the Amadou Moustapha Sarr camp located in Leybar, the central police station, the police stations of the districts of Pikine and the island of Saint-Louis, as well as the antenna of the DNLT under the Directorate of the Air and Borders Police (DPAF), located in Gokhou MBACC.

He took advantage of these exchanges to recall the current security issues, encourage agents to maintain their professionalism and their commitment, and underline the importance of their role in the protection of populations.

As such, the DGPN was received by the governor of the Saint-Louis region, which wanted to salute the exemplary collaboration between the national police and the local authorities throughout his career.

The inspector general of police, Mame Seydou Ndour, director general of the national police visited, this Friday, January 23, 2025, as part of the working visit The special police station in Rosso before his tour at Richard Toll. On site a warm welcome was reserved for the managers in charge of the said police station.

With this in mind, the DGPN discussed with its teams to understand the operational challenges they encounter in the accomplishment of their daily tasks aimed at protecting individuals and goods, in order to find solutions.

Finally, this tour of the Police Inspector General, Mame Seydou Ndour, reflects an assertive desire to strengthen security, improve the working conditions of agents and maintain a local dialogue with operational units. At each stage, he congratulated the police for their work and encouraged them to redouble their efforts in the accomplishment of their missions.
