Following Success last yearwith many applicationsthe community of communes Côte Ouest Center Manche renews its “BAFA BOURSE” for theYear 2025.
Six scholarships in 2025
In 2024, three young people from the territory were trained in this system. Established by the Community Council in May 2023, it helps young people from the territory, interested in the animation field, wishing to prepare for the BAFA (aptitude certificate for the functions of animator).
In 2025, elected officials decided to grant six scholarships. The purpose of them is to promote the employability of young people in community territory, by offering them support in their desire to undertake and work on their living area.
It is to give them the opportunity to learn about the profession of animator and enhance it. It is also to offer them training and access to a first job.
It is also remedying the deficiency of temporary animators in the leisure receipts (ACM) of the territory, thus optimizing the capacity of reception, in response to the needs of families.
What is this device?
The young person who engages in the BAFA training must carry out a general training course, to acquire the concepts of bases on the animation functions.
-Then he must do his practical internship in a leisure center in the territory and submit a scholarship request to defend his candidacy before a jury.
If its candidacy is retained, the community finances the deepening or improvement internship of the BAFA. In exchange, the young person undertakes to integrate one of the leisure receptions of the territory for minimum 35 days.
Who is concerned?
The system is open to young people aged 16 to 25 and domiciled in one of the municipalities of the Côte Ouest Côte Center Manche, without any necessary resource condition.
How to apply?
Applications are possible until March 15, within the limit of the available scholarships. Information from Séverine Fremond, PESL coordinator on youth theme: 02 33 07 48 88 | [email protected]
