After these stormy beginnings, the filming of the saga was also not easy for Robert Pattinson. When he was only 21 years old, the interpreter of Edward Cullen had a very precise idea of the performance of his character, which he wanted to convey “as arty as possible”. “We had this weird tension where the studio was afraid of making things a little too powerful and all that. Whereas I thought that was the only way to play it. I spent so much time furious on that set…I still can't believe the way I played that role most of the time.”remembered the actor.
