The affair caused a lot of noise this Sunday January 26 between Guéret and Limoges. A crazy car driving at very high speed was pursued by several motorcyclists and seven police cars.
The white vehicle then ended its journey into a pole, near a gas station near the shopping center in the Corgnac district of Limoges.
-It all started during an unexpected police check in Guéret. A car fled and was immediately chased by the police between Creuse and Limoges, without the latter being able to catch up, despite the support of the gendarmes.
Arriving in the Corgnac district of Limoges, the vehicle stalled. A police motorcyclist then hit the rear and was slightly injured. He was transported to the hospital and escaped with a broken nose and a few stitches.
The two fugitives were arrested and taken into police custody. They are aged 19 and 23.
On site, a witness said: “I saw two men fleeing towards the end of the street, up the stairs. Around fifteen police officers chased them. Reinforcements arrived quickly. The street was blocked. The car was taken away on a tow truck.
On site, our team of journalists noted the presence of a large quantity of white powder on the ground. The police took samples, before diluting everything with water.
Guéret police investigators were seized of the investigation. The two in custody will therefore be repatriated to Creuse.
