Dakar, Jan 26 (APS) – The African Football Confederation (CAF) and the Moroccan authorities unveiled, Saturday evening, in Rabat, an official logo for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (CAN), which “celebrates the heritage and unity of the African continent.
”The new logo, a modern and iconic symbol of African football, celebrates the heritage and unity of the African continent,” explains CAF on its website.
The Confederation of African Football information site adds that ”the logo symbolizes pride, resilience and hope linking sport and art”.
”Inspired by Moroccan ‘zellij’, a timeless mosaic art form, the tournament logo redefines football as a canvas where creativity, precision and passion meet,” explains CAF.
CAN 2025 will be held from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026. The draw for the competition will take place Monday January 27, in Rabat.
-The 24 qualified teams will be divided into six groups of four.
