Landes-Charnay basketball (78-69 AD): hard but precious
Thanks to this close success, Basket Landes returns to the fight for the top of the table, in the Women's League in 6th position, 1 point behind its evening opponent, Charnay (3rd), but also from Montpellier and Angers. Very good news for the club which has just qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, and for the quarter-finals of the Euroleague. So many reasons to continue the season at full speed. Starting with the trip to Landerneau at the end of the week.
What a fight for Mitterrand! Fortunately, the public was there to help their favorites draw on their deepest resources to win. The first period was very complicated for the Landes who found themselves trailing by 12 points at the break (24-36). The recovery was spectacular in the 3rd quarter, with an eloquent 14-3. It was then a crazy crossover until the last flight of Julie Barennes' daughters in overtime. Note Lacan's performance with 24 points and 25 evaluation.
