ƒƒ article from Hoël Le Corre
She is 29 years old, has a Bac +5 in her pocket and is – temporarily – a window cleaner. For an hour, she will express her anger at this society which separates those who succeed from the others, her pain after the loss of her lover, her desire to tell her four truths to a father who has resigned. For an hour, she takes us to task, eager to share her words with attentive ears and eyes, silent witnesses but present for her, at least, steeped in solitude. For an hour, she empties her bag.
In an extraordinary and immersive stage setting, chairs in a circle, in full light, the charismatic and sensitive Lola Giusee holds her audience with her lips, moving on the edge of emotions. It allows us to delve deeply into the torments of this young woman. Pascal Rambert's chiseled text, both sharp and accessible, takes us through the rough edges of the soul of this tormented woman and the public cannot fail to offer its empathy and kindness in the face of this distress. Some scenes are particularly moving; when Lola speaks directly to a spectator in particular, evoking her grandmother. The spectator, that evening, naturally takes her in her arms, goes so far as to rock her and soothe her. In the end, Lose your bag oscillates between modesty and letting go and the story of this woman will accompany us for several more days…
