Four people, suspected of having kidnapped a cryptocurrency entrepreneur, were arrested on Friday January 24 in Sainte-Savine, near Troyes in Aube, learned Franceinfo on Saturday January 25 from a source close to the file. The 30-year-old victim fell into an ambush, according to this source. The man had an appointment in a city district for a professional meeting. But once there, he found himself nose with four people, one with whom he had a commercial dispute.
According to information from Franceinfo, the four individuals then kidnapped the entrepreneur by claiming 20,000 euros for his release. The creator of cryptocurrency still managed to warn a friend who alerted the police. Upon arrival, the police were able to arrest the four suspects without incident. The entrepreneur is healthy.
An investigation has been entrusted to the Privacy Cell and Troyes negotiations (CPN). Solicited by franceinfo, the Troyes prosecutor's office has so far replied. This case comes only a few days after the abduction and forcible confinement of David Balland, co -founder of the Cryptomonnaies Ledger company, released Wednesday January 22 thanks to the intervention of the GIGN after 72 hours.
