Born in Alès, Félix Bingui, nicknamed “The Cat”, is the alleged leader of a drug trafficking gang in Marseille.
In a press release, the Marseille prosecutor's office confirms the appearance before an investigating magistrate of Félix Bingui on January 24, 2025 following his extradition from Morocco.
“He was indicted on charges of importing narcotics in an organized gang, drug trafficking, aggravated money laundering, failure to provide proof of resources and criminal association with a view to preparing a crime and misdemeanors punishable by 10 years “imprisonment. At the end of his indictment, he was placed in pre-trial detention by the judge of freedoms and detention”, explains the Marseille prosecutor’s office.
