Eagle Football Group, owned by John Textor, announced a contribution of 83 million euros in liquidity.
This Friday evening, OL received a wonderful news for its finances! Indeed, Eagle Football, a group led by John Textor, owner of the club, announced a contribution of 83 million euros to meet the requirements of the DNCG. “This amount includes € 21.3 million paid by YMK, including € 11 million for the purchase of additional shares in OLF, and the rest for the constitution of a working fund between OL SASU and OLF”.
€ 62.3 million in players
On the other hand, the remaining € 62.3 million comes from the sales of players: Jeffinho, Gift Orban, Maxence Caqueret, and Luiz Henrique. OL also saves € 5 million thanks to several recorded departures, namely those of Lopes, Zaha, Da Silva, Adryelson, or Diawara. With these liquidity, OL hopes to reassure the DNCG, and thus avoid demotion to Ligue 2.
