Near Saint-André-de-l'Eure, Les Authieux gives priority to the living environment

The residents of Authieux (Eure), near Saint-André-de-l'Eure, were recently invited to the town hall on Saturday for the greeting ceremony. The opportunity to take stock of the town.

“We redid the cemetery wall, we took the opportunity to redo the war memorial. Safety in exterior defense against fire was achieved in full by adding three points. The municipality, accompanied by the Évreux Portes de Normandie agglomeration, also carried out road work and buried the lines, accompanied by the SIEGE. Optical fiber has arrived in the town and we welcome the birth of a fishing association,” summarized Roger Albenquemayor of the village.

The elected official spoke about the projects for the coming year: “In 2025, we will continue to work together to make our village a good place to live. Due to the economic situation, improving our infrastructure will be the project of the rehabilitation of the wash house in relation to the ground which has moved. The census will be carried out shortly, in January,” explained Roger Albenque. “Our municipality's budget is part of a difficult national context, but we will be able to make the necessary choices in the interest of all. We must continue to invest in the future, while ensuring that our expenses are controlled. Together, let’s make 2025 a year of sharing, solidarity and hope.”
