In January, Cécile, Mathieu and their two children should have arrived in Spain. Fate has decided otherwise. The family, part this summer of -Atlantique this summer for a round of Europe, has been blocked for five and a half months in a motorhome area of ​​Guichen Pont-Réan (Ille-et-Vilaine), in . On August 8, after only 80 kilometers of journey, a breakdown came to upset their journey prepared for a year. “We started rolling less and less quickly. At one point, we were 10 km/h on the four -Rennes lane. We were very afraid ”says the mother, joined by phone.

Accompanist of entrepreneurous women, Cécile had planned during this “road trip” without limited duration to meet her clients in the four corners of and Europe. The couple, a follower of new projects, had also sold their house in Saint-Père-en-Retz to invest in this bus fitted out until this unpredictable incident.

“Nickel” technical control

“The technical control was nickel”assures Cécile, about this vehicle dating from 1978 and bought 55,000 euros, more than 1,000 euros in accessories. She believes he was ripped off by a seller who would have lied to them. A legal proceedings are underway in order to obtain a cancellation of the sale for hidden defect. “It can happen to everyone. We just came across the bad bus and the bad person ”she insists, while negative comments flocked after their history has been widely relayed by the local press.

It is likely that the family, who travels with two dogs, a guinea pig and three cats, will be brought to stay for another five months here, while justice does their job. After a first expertise in October, another is scheduled during the year. They will certainly have to find temporary accommodation for three weeks again. In January, they also had to move their bus for a few days because of the vilaine flood.

Despite these galleys, the family goes ahead. “It is a choice of life and we do not regret it. We do not put our children in danger ”wishes to reassure Cécile. Her spouse takes care of their 9 and 12 -year -old boys' home instruction, while she tries to rebuild a program for her customers at a distance. On a daily basis, “We are not cold. It is as if we had a Parisian apartment. The bus is built with a parental bed, a seating area, a bed for each child, a real shower … with even a garage. ”

The bus becomes famous

If they have no regrets and do not consider it at this stage to buy a hard house, they still suffer financial losses. On the advice of a friend, they launched a prize pool to help them. “I live in a world where humans are united”thinking with optimism Cécile, who has already given herself largely in the past for other causes.

In this ordeal, she wants to retain the positive. For example, someone offered to organize a sale of solidarity breads for their benefit. “With the children, we're going to go and make bread. These are human encounters that we would never have done! ”. To go shopping, local people, whom she begins to know well, take turns to lead her to the supermarket. The yellow bus even begins to become famous. Unknowns come to take a picture in front. “We love to live on our bus, it's just that we would like to ride”finishes Cécile who does not despair of finding a sponsor who would provide them with a bus in exchange for advertising them.
