This Tuesday, the 2025 campaign for young projects was launched to highlight cultural, environmental, solidarity and prevention values.

The Departmental Council of , the Directorate of Departmental National Education Services of Gard (DSDEN), the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) and the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) of Languedoc, support youth projects (from 11 at the age of 26) residing in Gard. The objective is that their creativity can be expressed through their passions, their desires, their commitments. For the 11th year, the structures are joining forces to launch the new call for youth projects from January 21 to February 24, 2025. Projects must respond to well-defined fields of action to be funded: citizenship, promotion of community values. the Republic (in particular secularism) and the fight against violence and discrimination.

  • Local activities (improvement of the living environment, neighborhood solidarity, environmental protection, intergenerational and intercultural links).
  • International solidarity.
  • Culture and sports (e.g. putting on a play), provided that young people are part of a real approach by ensuring the design and implementation of said project.
  • Prevention by young people and for young people on health, well-being…

Projects meeting the eligibility criteria will be presented by young people before a jury composed of two representatives of the four partners (CAF, DSDEN, the Departmental Council or the MSA), on March 26, April 2 and April 9, 2025.

All types of media are authorized for the presentation of projects: videos, audios, PowerPoint, etc. Equipment will be made available if necessary. The project can be carried out either individually or by a group of 2 to 15 young people. Projects can build on an existing structure such as:

  • A social center or space for social life.
  • A neighborhood center or a youth and culture center.
  • Un foyer rural.
  • Une association.
  • A youth information point, a local youth mission.
  • A popular education federation.

In 2024, 67 applications were received. The pre-selection committee, made up of financial partners, selected 53. Ultimately, 45 projects were financed by the Departmental Council for a total amount of €65,800, 22 projects financed by Caf for an amount of €67,100. €, 9 projects financed by the MSA for an amount of €5,000 and 8 projects financed by the Gard national education system for an amount of €6 €680. The projects focused on a wide variety of subjects such as history, solidarity, neighborhood life, art, audiovisual, and sports awareness.
