The Moroccan Investor Association of the World (IMDM) was created on January 23, 2024. It is based in Thouars, in Deux-Sèvres, and chaired by Thouarsais Rachid Kouifi. It is intended to shine worldwide and already has members in nine countries (, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, United States, Canada and Qatar). “Our mission is to create bridges with expatriates to promote the economic and social development of Morocco and the Moroccan community in the world”summarizes the president.

Beyond promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences, supporting young people and people with disabilities towards employment, or even organizing training and promoting dialogue with citizens, elected officials And economic actors, IMDM also wishes to carry out targeted projects.

Renewable energies and permaculture

Example: the signature, in this month of January 2025, of a “Strategic partnership” With the Moroccan company Touriver, located near Casablanca and specializing in permaculture and renewable energies. “It was selected from the 25 Moroccan companies that integrate the green growth and job accelerator project, in partnership with the United Nations and the Denmark Foreign Ministry”specifies Rachid Kouifi.

Objective of this union: “Developing sustainable agritourism in Morocco and strengthening the links between the rural world and the Moroccan diaspora”, based on methods observed abroad, and in particular in France and in Deux-Sèvres.
