The wind project at the heart of a local participatory approach

Monday, January 20, the elected officials of Sévérac d'Aveyron and the ECLR network (Regional Network that supports communities in citizen energy projects) carried out a door-to-door operation to inform the inhabitants of the town and the local residents concerned on the wind project of Ventajou. The purpose of this approach is to collect questions concerning this project.

A questionnaire was made available in the last municipal bulletin and is also accessible online on the town's website until February 9.

Following this approach, a citizen panel will be formed in the coming weeks. It will meet on several occasions in 2025 to reflect and make proposals on compensatory measures to counterbalance the impacts of the future wind farm, citizen investment, actions to be financed with endowment funds, etc.

The inhabitants will be kept informed of the results of this door to door and the progress of the consultation.
