The Grisbi association, which brings together service, construction and industrial companies in the Rhone Gard, held its first plenary of the year this Thursday in Sabran. The opportunity to take stock of the projects for 2025.
The first of these is an old file, brought up to date by the new board of directors led by president Florent Robert: to have Grisbi recognized as an association of general interest. “We will organize an extraordinary general meeting in March or April to modify the statutes”says the president. An essential step for the recognition of this new status, which the association hopes for 2026. Once recognized as an association of general interest, Grisbi will be able to issue tax receipts, which will lead it to review its contribution system.
Another big subject: regaining members, particularly in construction, a sector which had largely deserted the association. “We are going to do another evening dedicated to construction companies, we had a lot of people at the first”says Florent Robert. The idea is to “remotivate construction companies in the region, seven or eight of whom should join us soon”he continues.
The association is also working on its annual event, Grisbi Day, which will be held on May 15 at Mas de So, in Laudun-l'Ardoise, always with a conference speaker in the evening. The name of this speaker has not yet been decided. Grisbi will also renew its Cleanup Day, a day of cleaning nature, “but it will be a little larger in scale, the Einstein and Sainte-Marie high schools are committed to us, and surely also the medical-educational institutes”announces Florent Robert. The association will also continue its afterworks and skills-building meetings, with a session on first aid on February 11.
