In May 1789, the extraordinary assemblies of the Estates General opened, bringing together the orders of the clergy, the nobility and the Third Estate. They will mark the start of the French Revolution. It is on this theme: Concord, discord, Revolution that Frédéric Bidouze, lecturer in modern history at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, will speak on Saturday February 1.
