And Isère will not escape the strong gusts of wind. And for good reason, this Friday January 24, 2025, Météo France placed the department on yellow alert for violent winds.
Gusts up to 100km/h
Between this Friday evening and Saturday January 25 in the morning, the south wind will blow very strongly in the north of the department, especially in the Lyon plains, where gusts of up to 100 km/h are expected, Météo France informs us. .
If the weather will gradually calm down throughout the day, precipitation will occur in Isère during the weekend, precisely during the night from Saturday to Sunday.
-Between 15 and 25mm of rain are expected in the department. It will be mainly in the mountains that the rain will be most severe. “An active but brief rainy spell”, summarizes Météo France.
Up to 16°C in Grenoble
In terms of temperatures, they are relatively high for the month of January. During the day of Saturday January 25, it will be particularly hot, where the mercury will notably reach 16°C in Grenoble, or 9°C more than the usual January average.
From Sunday January 26, temperatures will begin to decrease to reach a normal average from next Wednesday.
