Discover the list of ten “inspiring sportswomen” honored this Thursday at town hall

What brings together Sarah Michel-Boury, 36 years old, Tango Legend, Olympic basketball vice-champion this summer in , and Janane Barbosa, 9 years old, graduate of the Martial Attitude Academy? They are one of the ten sportswomen who were honored this Thursday evening in the lounges of Town Hall to receive an inspiring sportswoman trophy.

“Athletes from all walks of life who represent sport in all its diversity,” underlined the mayor, Yann Galut. “Bourges is a sporting city in addition to being cultural and heritage” continued the elected official when presenting the territory to former international footballer Marinette Pichon, whose name the Portuguese stadium in Bourges will bear from Saturday.
