Météo France has placed Maine-et-Loire on yellow alert for rain and flooding this Friday, January 24, afternoon. Precipitation and strong gales are in fact forecast in the territory due to the passage of storm Eowyn over the United Kingdom and which leaves some traces of its passage in France. Météo France indicates this Thursday: “On the sidelines of a strong storm which is circulating over Ireland and Great Britain, the weather will be disrupted and rainy all day between Brittany and Pays de la Loire as far as Hauts-de-France, overflowing a little further into the south in the afternoon. Good watering is therefore expected in Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Lower Normandy. As the disturbance passes over the north of the country, the wind is expected to be quite strong, reaching 60 to 80 km/h in gusts, weakening in the evening. »
