Pedestrian struck in Joliette

A 60-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle between Saint-Anne Boulevard and Menseau Boulevard in Joliette.

The Sûreté du Québec requested a driving skills check from the SAAQ for the 70-year-old driver of the vehicle who did not see the woman on the side of the road.

The sixty-year-old was taken to hospital and there is no fear for her life.
