Pierre Sage who receives the Belley medal of honor
During Belley's greeting ceremony, Pierre Sage received the city's medal of honor from the mayor.
He went from a simple educator in a district club to coach of Olympique Lyonnais. Indeed, after a transition to CS Belley of several years as a player, then as an educator and sports coordinator, Pierre's professional career Sage took a completely different turn. Before becoming a coachOLthe native of Lons-le-Saunier played through numerous clubs during his training, such as Bourg-Péronnas, Chambéry and Sedan. Subsequently, he was recruited by the Rhone team to coach young people from 2019 to 2022.
The pride of a city
Today, Pierre Sage has been at the head of the seven-time French champions (2002-2008) for more than a year. A short path, but already rich in strong moments with the crazy comeback of last season, and less favorable passages, like he is currently going through.
-Remember that he extended his contract with OL at the end of the previous financial year for a period of two additional years. Friday January 17, the Jura technician received from the hands of Dimitri Lahuertamayor of Belley, the city's medal of honor for his professional career. A way for the Belleysans to congratulate him on his trajectory in the world of football.
