Addictive behaviors constitute a major challenge for our society. All territories are concerned. Alcohol, tobacco, narcotics, gambling, video games, etc. are present in various ways in the lives of the French. For the record, alcohol and tobacco are the two leading causes, in France, of premature mortality and the two leading risk factors for cancer. Alcohol is also widely involved in violence, particularly domestic and sexual violence. The consumption of narcotics, in addition to its effects on health, fuels trafficking and various criminal activities which themselves fuel the demand for products and generate insecurity and violence.
In this context, and in accordance with the interministerial strategy of mobilization against addictive behavior, the Cantal prefecture is launching a call for projects aimed at any public or private legal entity, communities, educational establishments, public and private associations and organizations. working in the field of health and prevention.”
Projects must fit into one or more of the following objectives:
- Prevention of addictive behavior among young people
- Actions in the festive environment – prevention and risk reduction

Engage businesses and public services in the prevention of addictive behavior in the workplace.
The deadline for submitting grant application files is April 14, 2025.
