Risk of avalanches marked this Wednesday in the mountains. All the massifs of the Southern Alps have a rating of 3 out of 5 on the Météo France risk scale. The Alpes de Haute-Provence prefecture asks skiers to avoid off-piste skiing due to fragile snowpacks.

The Hautes-Alpes and the Alpes de Haute-Provence are even on avalanche yellow alert for the day.
