A 25-year-old man died in a road accident this Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Moselle. The tragedy took place early in the afternoon on municipal road no. 1, known as the “white route” between Neufchef and Fontoy.
-The driver lost control of his vehicle, a top truck, when he hit a barrier on the bridge which spans the A30 motorway at this point. He fell below. He died on the spot despite the intervention of firefighters. The white road was closed in both directions of traffic.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact causes of this accident. Excessive speed could explain the tragedy.
