On an official mission to Qatar, the Minister of Labor, Employment and Relations with Institutions, Abass Fall, signed a historic partnership aimed at creating 1,000 job opportunities for qualified Senegalese. These positions, covering key sectors such as technology, science, medicine and logistics, represent a significant step forward for the country.

To facilitate the process, a dedicated platform will be set up within the Employment Department. Interested candidates will be able to submit their CVs online, simplifying the procedure. Recruitments will be made on the basis of transparent interviews, in line with the specific needs of private companies and the Qatari authorities. This partnership marks a turning point in relations between Senegal and Qatar, strengthening their ties while offering concrete alternatives to illegal emigration.

By offering international opportunities, the initiative reflects the Senegalese government’s commitment to promoting decent work and creating new professional prospects for its citizens. With this major advance, many qualified Senegalese can now envisage a promising professional future, far from the risks linked to illegal immigration.
