Royal Air Maroc Cargo is expanding its network. After direct flights to Montreal, New York, Washington and Miami, the national airline launched the Casablanca-São Paulo line, with three weekly frequencies (Monday, Thursday and Saturday). The plane takes off from Casablanca at 4:40 p.m. (local time) to land in São Paulo at 10:20 p.m. (local time). As for return flights, they leave São Paulo at 12:20 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Casablanca at 1:15 p.m.
This new line is of capital importance for Brazil and Morocco. “Brazil and Morocco have a long-standing partnership, and this new line to São Paulo illustrates our ambition to become a key player in connecting these two dynamic economies. […] This direct service supports the growth of trade between our two nations, while opening expanded opportunities to West Africa, Turkey and the Middle East through our Casablanca hub,” said Yassine Berrada, vice-president. Royal Air Maroc Cargo also launched the Casablanca-Toronto route, with three frequencies (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). Flights departing from Casablanca are scheduled at 4:45 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Toronto at 7:25 p.m. (local time). As for the return flights, they leave Toronto at 9:30 p.m. (local time) to land in Casablanca at 10:50 a.m. According to Berrada, this new link strengthens ties with the diaspora and boosts trade by allowing the transport of products such as citrus fruits, processed foods and traditional Moroccan crafts, while facilitating the importation of essential foodstuffs such as wheat or aeronautical spare parts.
-Thanks to these two new connections, Royal Air Maroc Cargo is strengthening trade between Morocco and the American continent.
