A new CEO arrives at AXA Assurance Maroc. The Group has just appointed Gilles Fromageot as General Manager of AXA Assurance Maroc and AXA entities in CIMA (Inter-African Conference of Insurance Markets – Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon and Senegal). The new CEO succeeds Meryem Chami, who is leaving AXA for personal reasons.
This appointment, approval of which remains subject to the necessary regulatory authorizations, will allow Gilles Fromageot to take up his duties on February 24, indicates the Group in a press release.
The new CEO brings 25 years of international experience in the insurance industry to this position. He has already held several leadership positions in complex markets across Europe and Asia. Before his appointment as head of AXA Assurance Maroc, Gilles Fromageot held the position of Regional Director of AXA XL (a division of AXA specializing in complex risks and large companies) in Asia, where he managed the growth strategy of the company and its expansion into new markets.
