News item: Arrested after entering a barge on the Moselle

Burglaries are increasing in Luxembourg and thieves have no limits. On Sunday afternoon, a barge was visited along the Esplanade de la Moselle, in Wasserbillig. Several police patrols were then mobilized to find the individual who had broken in. He was finally arrested on Duschscher Street a few moments later. He was presented to a judge Monday morning, but the police gave no details on possible damage.

At the same time on Sunday, another individual was arrested, this time in Leudelange, while trying to steal tires in rue Nicolas Brosius. Again, the man was presented to a judge on Monday. The police specify that it “could have a link with other thefts”.
