France Stratégie expects strong development of irrigation

France Stratégie continues its prospective work on water. Nine months after the publication of a first deliverable on the announced evolution of withdrawals and consumption, the forecasters at the Hôtel de Matignon are interested in the demand for water, in a context of warming.

Unlike the previous one, the note published on January 20 integrates the lessons from Explore 2, a major scientific project assessing the impacts of climate change on the water cycle by 2070.
