A man fell from 3e floor of a building in the historic center of Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine), Monday January 20, 2025. It was neighbors who raised the alert around 1:40 p.m., after seeing a person lying on the ground in the interior courtyard of a building on rue de Verdun.
An open investigation
Quickly arriving on site, firefighters and a Samu team took care of the victim who had fallen through the window of his apartment, located on the top floor of a small building. He suffered several injuries and fractures, but was conscious when they arrived. He was transported to Pontchaillou hospital in Rennes. For the moment, his vital prognosis is not in jeopardy.
The cause of his fall is unknown, but he was alone in his apartment at the time. A police investigation was opened.
