A man fell from 3e floor of a building in the historic center of Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine), Monday January 20, 2025. It was neighbors who raised the alert around 1:40 p.m., after seeing a person lying on the ground in the interior courtyard of a building on rue de Verdun.

An open investigation

Quickly arriving on site, firefighters and a Samu team took care of the victim who had fallen through the window of his apartment, located on the top floor of a small building. He suffered several injuries and fractures, but was conscious when they arrived. He was transported to Pontchaillou hospital in . For the moment, his vital prognosis is not in jeopardy.

The cause of his fall is unknown, but he was alone in his apartment at the time. A police investigation was opened.
