Back to the competition! For this first official meeting of the year 2025, the Sang et Or – undefeated in the Second League for 7 days – travel to the pitch of Thonon Évian (7th). Coach Sarah M'Barek lines up a unique three-way defense made up of Laurine Pinot, Fatima El Ghazouani and Romane Lejeune. Further up, Kahissa Saïdi notably finds a starting place in the attack.

Pushed by a blood and gold yard that gives voice, Tess David's teammates are the first to stand out. Alerted at the far post on a cross from Jennifer Meunier, the captain slipped the ball to Dayana Pierre Louis behind. The number 19 tries her hand at first intention but comes up against the goalkeeper (8'). The following action is the right one! Served in the last thirty meters, Aude Gbedjissi pierces the Haut-Savoyard defensive curtain with a low pass which reaches Fany Proniez in the area. The Lens side finds the fault with her right foot and Racing logically takes the lead (0-1, 11')!

Not satisfied, the Blood and Gold continue to move forward. After a corner returned by the opposing defense, Kahissa Saïdi received the ball twenty meters away. His left-footed curling attempt sailed under the crossbar but it was slammed for a corner by the goalkeeper (14'). Offensive, the Artésiennes allow themselves certain excesses of function to try to make the break, like this projection of Fatima El Ghazouani in the area. After eliminating her opponent, the Moroccan defender passes the ball to Fany Proniez whose shot hits the mark (0-2, 25')!

On their momentum, the Sang et Or sting once again. In the process, it is the turn of Carla Polito to add her name to the list of scorers. With a powerful left-footed strike, the Lens midfielder scored a third goal for the RCL (0-3, 28'). Irresistible, Sarah M'Barek's players added to the score a few minutes later. Perfectly launched from deep by Romane Lejeune, Jennifer Meunier sends an offering to Fany Proniez who scores the hat-trick (0-4, 32'). Attentive to the rare Evianese incursions, Racing showed itself to be solid in its camp and led at the break.
