A little over a year and a half after its first season, XO, Kitty is finally back on Netflix for our greatest happiness. After playing matchmaker between his sister Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky in the trilogy To all the boys I've lovedKitty Song Covey was entitled to her own series with this spin-off which immediately seduced us with its light tone and endearing characters. In this series, Kitty (Anna Cathcart) leaves the United States to follow in the footsteps of her deceased mother: she wins a scholarship to study at KISS, an international school located in Seoul, South Korea. This is good because that's where her boyfriend Dae (Choi Min-Young) goes to school, whom she hasn't seen for years. Season 1 was complicated for the young woman who ended up breaking up with Dae and discovering that she has feelings for the beautiful Yuri (Gia Kim who is the sister of an actor in the series). To make matters worse, season 1 ended with a shocking revelation: Min-ho (Sang Heon Lee) declared his feelings to Kitty on the plane taking them back to Los Angeles. Warning, the following contains spoilers for season 2.

XO, Kitty : who does Kitty have feelings for at the end of season 2 of the Netflix series?

In season 2 of XO, Kitty, which totally lives up to the first salvo, Kitty is therefore back at KISS for a new semester. The young woman initially seems to have put an end to her feelings for Yuri, who is still in a relationship with Juliana (Regan Aliyah), but nothing is simple. Everyone ends up discovering that Kitty has a crush on Yuri, and the two young women even end up kissing. But their relationship will not become a reality since Yuri chooses to try to patch things up (in vain) with Juliana. As the episodes progress, Kitty spends more and more time with Min-ho, even if their friendly relationship is not without clouds. Particularly when Stella (Audrey Huynh), the young man's new girlfriend, turns out to be a great manipulator. In episode 7, Kitty realizes she has strong feelings for Min-ho and, while we expected her to reveal her feelings to him in the eighth and final episode, that was not entirely the case. Kitty asks Min-ho if she can accompany him on his brother's tour, without telling him that she shares his feelings.

Why you could have guessed a rapprochement between Kitty and Min-ho from the start of season 2 of XO, Kitty

For the most observant fans, Kitty's feelings for Min-ho didn't come as a huge surprise. It must be said that throughout season 2, and even in season 1, the series gave numerous more or less subtle indications on the possibility of seeing these two characters as a couple, referring to the saga HAS all the boys I've loved. From the start of the series, Min-ho is the only one who calls Kitty by her last nameCovey, as did Peter (Noah Centineo who makes an appearance in season 2 of XO, Kitty) with Lara Jean (Lana Condor). Season 2 also accumulates winks, especially in episode 2. While Kitty tries to prevent a race on a sports field, she pretends to faint, and it is Min-ho who comes to his help. This is a parallel with a scene from À all the boys I've loved in which Peter goes to meet Lara Jean, lying on the ground of a race track after feeling unwell. Another nod to the first film in the saga? In episode 4, Kitty and Min-ho have a discussion in a jacuzzilike Lara Jean and Peter before them. Then, in episode 7, Min-ho makes a peace sign with one hand while saying goodbye to Kitty during the scene at the market… like Peter in the original saga. So many clues that could have put you on the path very quickly!

Will Kitty and Min-ho end up as a couple in XO, Kitty ?

Unlike season 1 and its 10 episodes, season 2 of XO, Kitty only has 8 and therefore ends with this open ending concerning the future of Min-ho and Kitty. Especially since the young man declared that he no longer wanted to be in a relationship: “I renounce any form of relationship, I was much better when I was a playboy” he explains to Kitty in the final scene. Will they still get closer and become a couple? The answer could be given in a potential season 3, which has not yet been officially announced by Netflix. One thing is certain: the door is open for a sequel. Not only for Kitty, who will be able to continue studying at KISS, but also for the other characters. At the end of season 2, Yuri discovered that Juliana had moved on from their relationship and was in a relationship with Praveena (Sasha Bhasin). To make matters worse, she learned that her father was the subject of a lawsuit and that her family was ruined. For his part, Dae discovered that his father was one of those who sued Yuri's father. So we're keeping our fingers crossed for new episodes!
