Durnes. New coats of arms on the Barèche plateau

During 2024, the Journal de la Barèche association took on the challenge of creating coats of arms for the six communes of the plateau. Given that certain coats of arms already existed (Saules and Voires), the two members of the association, Loïs Mourot and Rodolphe Bauer, looked at the other villages. After several meetings with municipal councils and some discussions with elected officials, they were able to design the coats of arms of Durnes, Lavans-Vuillafans, Guyans-Durnes and Échevannes.
