The newspaper Le Franc-Montagnard announced last December that the Mediqo center, which took over Dr Anker’s office in Saignelégier, will leave the capital of Franches-Montagnes for Le Noirmont in 2025.
Cramped in the current premises, it was necessary to find something bigger, says Olivier Guerdat, communications manager at H-JU, which manages the Mediqo offices in the canton. “We really found something ideal in Noirmont, with single-storey premises, parking nearby, as well as the train station and the pharmacy,” he lists. “Our mission is to offer a Mediqo branch to all of Franches-Montagnes, not just one village or another.”
