Since 2021, every Sunday at 2 p.m. and every Wednesday at 6 p.m., Voce Nustrale offers the show “Promenade musicale”, which has become the unmissable meeting place for lovers of classical and lyrical music. At the microphone, Bernard and Maïthé Ventre, a couple based in Castagniccia who have succeeded in sharing their passion with listeners by broadcasting the latest new releases, highlighting young performers but also by rediscovering forgotten composers and historical recordings .
A great asset for Adecec radio which happily welcomes this retired couple, great lovers of music and fine connoisseurs of their subject. “We have found at Voce Nustrale, a wonderful and competent team which puts us in the best technical but also human conditions, to record our shows, they confide. We couldn't have dreamed of a better way to continue doing what has driven us for so many years, radio animation.”
25 years of experience
This Sunday, January 19 at 2 p.m., the two presenters will present their 200th Promenade musicale. An issue that is obviously a little special (rebroadcast on Wednesday January 22 at 6 p.m.) of which Bernard Ventre reveals the content: “For this 200th, there will be the contemporary composer Yves Castagnet, the pianists François Dumont and Pierre Reach, the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla, the tenor Pene Patti from the Samoa Islands, the lyrical sequence which brings together a panel of singers, and to finish , cellist David Louwerse in duo with pianist François Daudet.”
The duo of opera and classical fans did not arrive there by chance. Bernard was a presenter on idFM Radio Enghien for 25 years. And Maïthé, never far away, in the literary conception of the broadcasts. When the couple settled down in La Porta – Maïthé's original village – after spending many years in the Paris region, they had only one idea in mind: offering their services to a local radio station. Voce Nustrale does the right thing and enhances its program schedule with “Promenade Musicale”, an invitation to classical, lyrical and jazz music, from new releases to the most notable reissues. The biweekly show quickly won over listeners.
-Which does not happen without requiring some sacrifices from the two music-loving octogenarians: “Once every two months, we travel from La Porta to Cervioni. This gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of this village with its authentic charms, in contact with its endearing inhabitants. This day It's not easy but so rewarding.”
After this 200th edition, Bernard and Maïthé wish to take a step back by alternating broadcasts and rebroadcasts. Nothing to alarm Voce Nustrale listeners. Promenade musicale still has a bright future ahead of it and the voices of Bernard and Maïthé promise to enchant the airwaves of 105.1 FM for a long time to come.
