new AI features revealed in Samsung promotional video

A few days before its official launch scheduled for January 22, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is already making waves. A promotional video recently leaked by Android Headlines has just revealed the major innovations of the new series, particularly in terms of night photography and artificial intelligence.

The video published by Android Headlines, but which has since been removed at the request of Samsung, focuses on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the One UI 7 interface. It presents several new features. Among them, “Now Brief”, a new contextual information tool accessible from the lock screen, displays essential daily data such as sleep quality and weather.

The integration of Google Gemini, the new generation AI assistant, unsurprisingly occupies a central place in this presentation. This collaboration strengthens the capabilities of Galaxy AI, Samsung's artificial intelligence suite, promising a more intuitive and personalized user experience.

The Galaxy S25s will focus on night photography

The “Nightography” function benefits from significant improvements for nighttime videos. The comparative demonstration is particularly eloquent, revealing a notable difference between the sequences captured with and without this technology. Images appear brighter and more detailed in the dark.

Another major innovation: the Audio Eraser. This function, already popularized by Google on its Pixel smartphones, now makes it possible to eliminate parasitic noise from video recordings, thus providing optimal sound quality.

The video concludes with an overview of the full range, showing three devices from the back and one from the front. Contrary to initial speculation, the fourth device would not be the Galaxy S25 Slim but simply the front of the Ultrarecognizable by the position of its speaker. As a reminder, the Galaxy S25 Slim should not be released at the same time as the others at the end of the month, but rather in the spring.

These new features, mainly focused on artificial intelligence and improved multimedia capture, promise a significant evolution of the user experience on Samsung's flagship series. Like last year, the Korean manufacturer seems to be banking on AI to enrich features and stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
