After trying different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. When making a choice between becoming a professional footballer and a journalist, the qualities tipped the scales to one side. Here he is now in the editorial team of 10 Sport, after a diploma obtained at the International Institute of Communication in Paris.
Today in Dunkirk, Yacine Bammou had especially made a name for himself at FC Nantes, the club where he played from 2014 to 2018. An explosion which was at the time accompanied by a story which kept coming back. Indeed, every time we talked about Bammou, we were reminded that the striker had previously worked for PSG in the Parc des Princes store. A story mentioned again by the main person concerned.
Before exploding among professionals and particularly in FC Nantes, Yacine Bammou played among amateurs. Not making a living from football at the time, the striker had to work on the side and this is how he found himself as a PSG employee working for the Parc des Princes store. This story stuck to the image of Bammou and we constantly told him. This is still the case today.

During an interview given to Eurosport, Yacine Bammou therefore brought up again this story according to which he worked for the PSG. The now player of Dunkirk then confides: “ How many times have I heard this reference? I couldn't even tell you how huge the figure must be. In all the clubs, everywhere I traveled, as soon as I met a football fan… It was history that made its mark in France. The last time I heard it was at my signing in Dunkirk. Some fans, people in club communications spoke to me about it. When we hear Bammou, it’s true that the story comes with it ».
“It’s a source of pride for me”
« Are I drunk today? No not at all. It's a source of pride for me. It's positive. Yes, I went to the PSG store and, a few months later, I played and scored against them. It's just a beautiful story. Before starting my career in football, I worked. I think it helped me a lot. It instilled in me values which, today, serve me », then explained Yacine Bammouwho, if it must be recalled once again, therefore worked for the PSG before exploding into the pros.
