The Line of Swallows offers a rail excursion, punctuated by superb landscapes from Dole to Morez. This year, Dole Tourisme has put in place two options to taste the pleasures of winter.
The first is the “Snowshoes” or hiking option depending on the weather. After a Franche-Comté meal in a brasserie in Morez, you will set off with your backpack to explore the traces of the local fauna and flora on snowshoes thanks to a mountain guide who will share his passion for nature with you.
Organization of the day: commented return railway excursion, regional meal, snowshoe rental, snowshoe accompaniment by a qualified guide, friendly drink at the Morbier cheese factory.
The second is the “Discovery of know-how” formula. After a regional lunch, you will visit the Eyewear Museum in Morez and its prestigious collection of Essilor – Pierre Marly glasses, the convivial friendship honoring Franche-Comté products at the Morbier cheese factory. On February 5 and March 12, a visit to the Enamel House will be offered instead of the Eyeglass Museum.
-Organization of the day: guided rail excursion there and back, bus transport, regional meal, visit to the Glasses Museum and a glass of friendship at the Morbier cheese factory.
