Mayor Gaëligue Jos and the municipal council invited the residents of Saint-Michel-de-Bannières to the greeting ceremony, which was held on Saturday January 11 at the school. And they came in numbers, almost 90.

After welcoming and thanking the participants, Gaëligue Jos focused in his intervention on a few points which he considers essential to communicate, in particular the importance for elected officials to remain accessible and to demonstrate transparency for all actions in progress. or planned. This is how she mentioned the current lack of visibility on the allocations essential to ensure the proper functioning of services and meet the needs of residents. The mayor recalled the responsibility of local elected officials, which goes beyond large-scale projects, that of “listening, understanding and supporting each citizen… Because it is in the daily support, sometimes discreet, that The solidarity and well-being of our community are truly at stake.” Before giving the floor to the other elected officials, Gaëligue Jos returned at length to the plural space project (town hall, village hall, etc.) currently on hold, awaiting the DETR (equipment for rural areas) of €500,000 requested, “essential to start and get things done in order”. She expressed her concern: “No budget voted by the State = no visibility on our situation”. and the mayor reiterated her attachment to her village and its projects, saluting the work accomplished and the energy deployed by everyone: residents, elected officials, municipal employees.

In her conclusion, she did not fail to recall the values ​​of the Republic: “The general interest, secularism, solidarity and living together are major issues which, I believe, are the keys to a society peaceful and harmonious… I wish you a very happy new year 2025, full of projects, hope and health.”
