Donald Trump will become the 47th President of the United States on Monday in Washington in the presence of many personalities. Here are the artists who will perform during the festivities organized around the event.
Donald Trump's second inauguration will take place next week, and many celebrities have been tapped to perform at events organized for the occasion, including many country music stars and fervent supporters of the Republican.
While the 78-year-old president-elect will be sworn in this Monday, the festivities will begin this weekend with the Make America Great Again festival on Sunday. Following the inauguration, several parties will also take place across Washington, DC. At each event, including the inauguration, several celebrities will take the stage to offer musical performances.
Among them is country singer Carrie Underwood. The American Idol winner and judge will perform “America the Beautiful” during the nominations Monday. She will be accompanied by the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Glee Club. “I love our country and I am honored to have been invited to sing at the inauguration and to be a part of this historic event. I am honored to answer this call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and looking to the future,” she explained about her participation in a press release.
Tenor Christopher Macchio will also participate in the inauguration ceremony where he will perform the American anthem. A proud supporter of Donald Trump, Kid Rock will perform at the Make America Great Again rally on Sunday, as will Billy Ray Cyrus (Miley's father). The Make America Great Again Festival will also feature a performance by Lee Greenwood, a country singer who has been a member of the Republican Party for many years.

Country music singer Parker McCollum will perform alongside Rascal Flatts at the Commander in Chief's Ball. Country music star Jason Aldean will entertain attendees at the Liberty Ball Monday evening. Gavin DeGraw, known for songs such as “I Don't Want to Be,” will entertain guests at the Starlight Ball Monday evening following the inauguration.
The group Village People, whose disco hit “YMCA” (1978) became a staple of Donald Trump's rallies, will take the stage at two events during inauguration weekend. They will perform at the Make America Great Again Festival on Sunday and at the Liberty Ball after the inauguration Monday evening.
“Today we are announcing that Village People has accepted an invitation from President-elect Trump's campaign to participate in inaugural activities, including at least one event with President-elect Trump. We know this won't please some of you, but we believe music should be played regardless of politics,” they said of the decision.
