The Attac Marsan committee, from Attac Landes, is part of a popular education approach by organizing events to encourage and share thoughts on themes that concern all of society. Between 2023 and 2024, a cycle was devoted to food, a subject which aroused keen interest among speakers and participants. This success led the committee to open a new reflection on a central theme: Work in our society. What forms of work do we want for the future? How to take control of certain aspects of the work? To explore these questions, Attac Marsan is organizing a brainstorming event, the equivalent of a brainstorming, on Saturday February 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Maison Joëlle Vincens (1st floor, meeting room). This interactive workshop will: Question the different forms of work: paid, voluntary, associative, domestic, rewarding or restrictive. Deconstruct preconceived ideas and representations around work. Promote rich and inclusive exchanges with a varied audience. Schedule of the morning: 9:30 a.m.: Welcome over coffee. 10:00 a.m.: Start of reflections, organized in three stages: Define what work is. Explore our relationship to work. Imagine how to regain control. 1:00 p.m.: End of the workshop, followed by a Spanish inn for those who wish to continue the discussions in a friendly setting. Practical information: The material is provided by the association, and participation is free and open to all. Everyone interested is invited to join this collective reflection. The Attac Marsan association hopes to welcome many of you for this enriching and meaningful morning. Contact: [email protected]
