The Nouveau Cap team would like to salute the exceptional and courageous commitment of the members of the Stop THT 40 collective against the 400,000 volt THT line in Capbreton.
Their determination to defend our territory and its inhabitants demonstrates a true act of love towards our commune.
Where the municipal team in place endorsed the passage of this line on Capbreton then the use of force, when it was appropriate to adopt a firm position by demanding a route along the highway, we reaffirm our desire to officially recognize the action of this collective which requests the application of the conclusions of the National Nature Protection Council and respect for the opinion of the population during the public inquiry
Their mobilization, at once militant, peaceful and united, reflects the values of our community.
-This is why we propose that this collective be awarded the city medal, in tribute to their civic action and their unwavering attachment to our town and our territory.
