The greetings ceremonies allow citizens to share a friendly moment with their chosen one and are an opportunity to take stock of the achievements of the past year and the projects under study for the following year.
The mayor of La Lande-Patry (Orne) Pascal Lecerf took stock of the actions carried out in 2024 after thanking the elected officials present: Yves Goasdoué, Jérôme Nury, Lori Helloco and the senator from Orne, Olivier Bitz.
He had a word for everyone local actors strongly committed to the common interest of the territory and of course, to its municipal council “which is overflowing with ideas”.
It is with them that progress and difficulties are discussed: “As Nathalie Goulet would say [sénatrice de l’Orne, excusée, N.D.L.R.] you are our tool boxes ! », assures the grateful mayor, before adding: “2024 will have been the year of all the achievements. »
Two major projects completed
Two important projects have been completed: “The program ofundergrounding of networks on the RD 424 (Flers-Tinchebray axis) ended with the assistance of Te61, whom I would like to thank for their advice and their kindness towards the residents concerned. »
“The rue des Colombes cycle path should be finished at the start of the year,” continues the mayor, turning to the president of Flers agglo, who contributed to its financing as did the Department. ” That brings together La Lande-Patry de Flers,” says Yves Goasdoué.
-To these projects, it is necessary to add works of lesser scale but which count for the daily life of the Landais : improving the school furniture, the handrail at the stadium for the FCL, the new uneven bars for the Joan of Arc and accessibility for the town hall.
And for 2025? Elected officials agree that the current political context and the absence to date of a 2025 budget voted by Parliament do not make it easy to project into the future… And yet, the projects will have to be submitted before the January 20… “It’s a bit of an artistic blur,” admits Pascal Lecerf, “without a budget, no local projects! »
Projects in the pipeline
However, the municipal council has something under its belt: the change in the method of evacuating wastewater under the school, “an investment which we will not be able to cut”. The mayor does not yet know what budget could be allocated to a possible field of photovoltaic panels in the abandoned areas of theaerodrome de Flers Saint-Paul, project led by the CCI Ouest Normandie: “It could provide electricity for 10,000 inhabitants per year. »
The senator and the deputy expressed essentially the same wish: “Greater national cohesion” for the one and “the necessary consideration of the superior interests of the Nation” for the second. “Let’s stay mobilized and determined,” concludes Jérôme Nury, “and we will be able to have a good year in 2025! “.
Before moving on to the cake, Michel Lecornu, municipal councilor for 35 years and volunteer in many local associations was surprised to be decorated with the commune medal. He swears he didn't know anything about it!
