Loïc Colin new president of the club! Who are you?
“Loïc COLIN, new President of the Vélo Club Sud Gironde. Passionate about cycling and an active member of the club for more than 10 years as a runner, I decided to take over and run for president, in agreement with Ms. Boudat and Mr. Bouquet.
During our general meeting of November 15, 2024, I had the honor of being unanimously elected. This support is a real source of motivation and commitment.
My ambition is simple but ambitious: to make the Vélo Club Sud Gironde a key player in cycling in our department, by perpetuating the spirit of conviviality, competition and passion which is the strength of our club. »

Objective 2025 Vélo Club Sud Gironde:
The 2025 season will be oriented largely towards youth. Our medium-term ambition is clear: to once again become, or even become, the benchmark club in our department, like our glorious past.
Relaunch the Cycling School (10 new ones)
-Among the first stages of this renewal, the creation of’a cycling school, effective since October 1, 2024, is a great success. Already having 10 young graduates (2 girls and 8 boys) aged 7 to 13, this school is mainly supervised by Maël, a STAPS student and engaged in civic service. The objective is twofold: to introduce young people to the discipline by transmitting to them the values of sport and to support them in their progress to ultimately aim for great performances and podiums.

Minimes, Cadets & Juniors (8 new) (2 departures)
Continuing the supervision and development of young riders (Minimes, Cadets, Juniors) remains a priority. The objective is to allow them to have maximum pleasure, both in training and in competition, while promoting their progress. We also aim to support them so that they integrate the departmental and regional selections, on the road and on the track. Thanks to appropriate supervision, we want to put them in the best conditions to achieve victories and podiums. This mission will once again be carried out with the valuable involvement of Maxime.
