A few days before welcoming OL for the 18th round of Ligue 1, Toulouse will have to deal with the absence of certain senior players for this meeting.
While Olympique Lyonnais has an almost empty infirmary (with the exception of Ainsley Maitland-Nilessick), other formations are in more difficulty, like Toulouse. Indeed, the coach of OL's future opponents, Carles Martínez Novellwill have to do without some of its major players. Starting with its captain, Vincent Sierrawho was recently injured for several weeks. Niklas Schmidt (knee) is also forfeited until the end of the season.
With or without Sidibé and Kamanzi?
Finally, the third package recorded for this weekend on the TFC side, that of Rasmus Nicolaisen. The central defender will resume in the coming weeks, but he will skip Saturday's match (9:05 p.m.). The Dane injured his ankle last October and is expected back in February, like Sierra. In total, three Toulouse footballers will certainly be absent to face the Rhone club.
-But this number could be even higher, since the Djibril full-backs Sidibe and Warren Like water are uncertain. We should know more this Friday, when the Haut-Garonnais will hold their press conference. On the Lyon side, Nicolas Tagliafico must be tested this January 17, while Thiago Almada will undoubtedly experience his first minutes during the 18th day of Ligue 1.
