On the program: a tasting menu in 10 stepsat the heart of the Hall of Men at Arms from the Parisian museum.
A little history lesson
The January 6, 1378, Charles Vthen king of France, receives in Paris his uncle, Charles IV. And since the guy is none other than the first Germanic emperor to visit the capital of History, the sovereign decides to put the small dishes in the big ones (we can't literally anymore) for pay tribute to this guest like no other. For the occasion, he invites 800 people to gather in the Hall of Men at Arms of the Concierge, to treat them with recipes illustrating all the French gastronomic know-how of the time. Dishes that have become emblematic, thanks to their preservation in a popular cooking collection of the time: the Taillevent.
A royal banquet
This is what moment d’exception what offers you to relive the Center of National Monumentsat the heart of the Concierge. For an evening, you can enjoy a tasting menu in 10 stepspresenting you with unique recipes straight from the Taillevent, et reconstituted for the first time thanks to a team of experts specialists in cuisine and the Middle Ages.
