SAccording to the Moroccan Association for Assistance to Migrants in Difficult Situations, the people concerned had served their sentences in Algerian prisons, in addition to spending more than five months in administrative detention.
In a press release, the association specified that the released migrants came from several Moroccan cities, including Fez, Oujda, Berkane, Taza, Meknes, Salé, Taounate, Tangier, Ouazzane, Béni Mellal, Ksar El Kébir, Aïn Beni Mathar and Demnate.
She also stressed continuing to monitor the cases of missing people, detainees and migrants in difficult situations, whose number currently exceeds 483 in Algeria, as well as other cases reported in Tunisia and Libya.
